Most people know Eclipse as an integrated development environment (IDE) for Java. In today's world it is the leading development environment for Java with a market share of approximately 65%.

- First download eclipse IDE via.download eclipse
- To start Eclipse double-click on the eclipse.exe (Microsoft Windows) or eclipse (Linux / Mac) file in the directory where you unpacked Eclipse.
- The system will prompt you for a workspace. And the workspace is the place in which you work.
- Now select an empty directory and press the OK button.
Eclipse starts and shows the Welcome page. Npw close this page by pressing the X beside Welcome.
Then after closing the welcome screen you see a screen similar to the following screenshot.
